支部運営は日本物理学会北海道支部に所属する日本物理学会委員が当たることになっています。日本物理学会委員は立候補制になっていますが、支部活動の現状は必ずしも活発ではありません。支部運営に関心のある方の立候補を是非お願いいたします。任期は4月1日から3月31日までです。

【支部会からのお知らせ（運営について）】

１．北海道支部費として、学会事務局に予算請求した額が（年間約10万円）支給されます。主な支出は支部講演会謝金、支部委員会開催時の旅費、通信文房具費、支部会事務謝金(1万円)です。

２．北海道支部講演会は以下の要領で行っています。

・講演の計画は、会員皆様への連絡の都合上、原則として一ヶ月前までに、講演者の略歴紹介および講演内容を添えて支部三役までご連絡ください。支部の行事として適切かどうか検討させて頂くことになっています。いうまでもなく、講演会は北大以外の他機関でも行うことが出来ます。
・支部講演会謝金は（基本的に）一律1万円です。（著名な講演者の場合はこの通りではありません）ただし、共催の形をとる場合、総額が1万円を超えない範囲で支出いたします。
・講演会申し込みは先着順とし、その年度の支部費がなくなった時点で打ち切ります。
・講演会の会員へのアナウンスは電子メールでアナウンスしますのでアナウンスの原稿を電子メールでWeb担当までお送りください。

３．通常の支部費のほかに支部活動を助成するために「支部活動助成費」が、日本物理学会本部で計上されています。非会員のための啓蒙的な特別講演会など様々な企画に対して先着順に利用できます。是非ご利用下さい。

４．学会誌についてのご意見や掲載したい話題、記事、論文などがありましたら学会誌編集委員へ是非御一報ください。

５．支部活動を開かれたものとし、かつ、活性化するために本ホームページを是非ご利用ください。

The branch will be managed by the members of the Hokkaido branch of the Physical Society of Japan. Members of the Physical Society of Japan are elected by nomination, but the branch’s activities are not very active at present. We ask those who are interested in branch management to apply. The term of office is from April 1st to March 31st.

[Notice from the Hokkaido Branch (regarding operations)]

1. The Hokkaido branch fee will be paid in the amount requested from the Society Secretariat (approximately 100,000 yen per year). The main expenses are branch lecture honorarium, travel expenses for branch committee meetings, communication and stationery expenses, and branch meeting administrative honorarium (10,000 yen).

2. Hokkaido branch lectures are held as follows.

・For the convenience of contacting all members, when planning a lecture, please contact the branch executive officers with a brief introduction of the speaker’s biography and the content of the lecture at least one month in advance. We will consider whether it is appropriate as a branch event. Needless to say, lectures can be held at institutions other than Hokkaido University.
・The branch lecture honorarium is (basically) a flat rate of 10,000 yen. (This does not apply in the case of well-known speakers.) However, in the case of co-sponsorship, the total amount will not exceed 10,000 yen.
・Applications for lectures will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be closed when the branch expenses for that year have run out.
・Lecture events will be announced to members by email, so please send the manuscript of the announcement by email to the Web staff.

3. In addition to regular branch fees, a “Branch Activity Subsidy Fee” is recorded at the headquarters of the Physical Society of Japan to subsidize branch activities. This can be used on a first-come, first-served basis for various projects, such as educational special lectures for non-members. Please make use of it.

4. If you have any opinions about the Society’s journal or topics, articles, or papers you would like to publish, please contact the Branch Journal Editor.
